Rob Friedrich works as part of the HelmsBriscoe Corporate team. His main responsibilities include the implementation, expansion, and/or optimization of centralized meeting and event programs for HelmsBriscoe’s clients. He will also further develop HelmsBriscoe’s sales processes with consolidated accounts, provide thought leadership to the organization, and support Associates in their management and compliance tracking of their strategic accounts. In addition, he will create new tools and resources that will enhance understanding and buy-in for consolidated clients at the executive level.
Rob joined HelmsBriscoe after spending seven years at a leading Procurement outsourcing and consulting firm that represents Fortune 500 clients as its internal Procurement organization. Most recently, he was the Global Group Lead for the Meeting & Event Sourcing and Category Management offering across all clients. In that role, he was responsible for developing or refining centralized Meeting & Event Programs, processes and policies. He and his team were responsible for establishing and building relationships with both clients and their respective preferred suppliers in order to maximize savings opportunities, while mitigating legal and financial risks. In addition to the Meeting & Event industry, his Procurement experience spans Transient Travel, Marketing, and Corporate Services. Rob attained his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Rowan University and Master of Business Administration from The Pennsylvania State University.
